A rare Yorkshire creamware Toby jug c.1780, seated with a massive clay pipe, holding an empty jug moulded with Cupid to two sides and with a face beneath the spout, with caryatid handle, all picked out in a deep manganese and raised on a rare flat base, the top of his pipe stem restored, 24.5cm.
