A rare and early Worcester blue and white sauceboat c.1753-54, the widely flared form moulded with oval panels encircled by delicate leaf sprigs, painted with the Boatman pattern, the interior rim with peony sprays, workman's mark to the base of the angular handle, minor rim faults, 15.3cm.
