Two Irish delftware plates c.1760-70, one an octagonal soup plate painted with a butterfly above flowering plants, the rim with a Fitzhugh type border, numeral 2 mark, the other octagonal and painted with a censer containing flowering peony, the rim with four vignettes of tied scrolls and other auspicious objects, 23cm.
