Two Russian porcelain presentation Easter eggs early 20th century, gilded with the monogram of Grand Duchess Olga Alexandrovna (1882-1960), one with bold pink stripes around floral panels and leaf tendrils, the other with small panels of pink roses within stylized blue leaf cartouches, 9.8cm. (2)
Provenance: from the collection of Dr Venetia Newall.
Olga Alexandrovna was the youngest child of Emperor Alexander III of Russia. In later life she emigrated to Canada and was a prolific artist.
