A rare Tibeto-Chinese figure of Marici (Sita Jambhala) seated in Lalitasana on a lotus throne which in turn is carried by a boar striding forward on a thin rectangular base. Traces of cold gilt and blue paint in the hair. 17th century, 17cm. Cf. Ulrich Von Schroeder, p.489, no.138e where this example is illustrated.
