A Victorian diamond and sapphire pendant

A Victorian diamond and sapphire pendant, the oval shaped sapphire is set within a surround of cushion shaped diamonds within a star form border and further surround of small and larger shaped diamonds, diamond set stylised fleur de lys loop, set in silver on gold. With a gemmological certificate number 969005 from the Precious Stone Laboratory stating that the sapphire measures 14.63 x 11.48 x 8.91mm and weighs 12.15 carats, is natural with no evidence of heat treatment and that the country of origin is Burma. N.B. the sapphire has subsequently been re polished and consequently weighs less than the weights stated in the certificate.
