An 18th century oblong snuff box with a hinged, mounted tortoiseshell cover and a flat-chased trophy of arms on the base, the sides with embossed masks and scrolls in low relief, unmarked probably continental (German/Scandinavian) 1740-1760, 3in (7.5cm) wide.
