A rare George II portable screen in a shagreen case, with a pull-off cover containing a fold-out green silk shade with spring clip for attaching to a lighted taper or candle and preventing glare maker's mark "PA" [script], and lion passant only, unascribed London c.1745, the case 3.95in (10cm) long.
