The following three lots were made in London in 1719 and were part of a collection of silver of the same year aquired by the owner (now deceased) to complement his house in Spitalfields which was built in 1719. A George I hexagonal taperstick, with a knopped column and domed base, scratched with the initials "W*B", by John Bignell, London 1719, 4.3in (11cm) high, 3oz.
