modelled in a standing position, the hinged hat opens to reveal the inkwell with a silver liner, his hands modelled to hold a pen, on a shaped rectangular base with simulated floorboard decoration, with an ivory pencil carved as a totem pole, height 19cm, approx. weight 9.6oz.
