A George III silver serving slice,
London 1796, by John Tatum senior and John Tatum Junior, over struck with maker's mark of George Smith,
oval blade with a hinged spring loaded cover and pierced with lozenge decoration, reeded borders, engraved with a crest, tapering thread handle, length 29.6cm.
The crest is that of Conyston, Eldridge, Iliff, Sherard and other families.
