An early 19th century Irish provincial silver sugar bowl,

by Isaac Solomon, Cork circa 1820,

circular bellied form, embossed with foliate scroll decoration, foliate borders, with two cartouches with a crest and initials, on a raised circular foot, diameter 15cm, approx. weight 10.2oz.

The crest is that recorded in Dublin in 1816 for Lowther and Villeneufue.
