An Officer's Service Dress Jacket, khaki, with brass RWF buttons and blackened brass collar grenades. Captain's rank insignia on the cuffs. Military Cross ribbon on left breast. One gold wound stripe on lower left sleeve. Flash attached. Maker's label inside collar: F.W. Flight, Military Outfitter, Winchester, Aldershot and London W. Over-written in ink is 'Lt. S. Sassoon 3/23'. Provenance: Siegfried Sassoon and thence by descent to the present owner
