A Charles I/Commonwealth provincial top spoon, with a gilt terminal, pricked 'SL' over '1659' on the back of the bowl, makers mark 'ID' in a shaped shield struck once in the bowl and thrice on the stem, unascribed, 1640-1660, 6.5in (16.5cm) long, 1.6oz.
