Two trefids: a William III Exeter made example, ribbed rattail, makers mark and date letter worn, c.1700 and a late 17th century laceback example, scratched initials 'MT', struck once, with a partial mark, 'S',unascribed, probably West Country, c.1700, the latter 9in (20.2cm) long, 3oz.
