An early George III Irish two-handled cup, with later embossing and inscription 'Presented by the owners of the ship MINESOTA by Capt. Harry Flinn as a slight acknowledgement of his unremitting and successful efforts in rescuing the said ship from a perilous position during a heavy gale on 2nd May 1858', maker probably Michael Walsh, Dublin 1760-70, 6in (15cm) high, 11oz.
