An 18th century Dutch tobacco box, of rounded oblong form, with reed borders, the front with the large engraved initials 'JJVD', the hinged cover stamped with vignettes of 'figural sacrife', makers mark, a duck, possibly for either Mathias Woortman or Henrikvan der woert, Amsterdam 1767, 6.45in (16.4cm) long, 6.5oz.
