Australia. A rare late 19th century wine ewer, of tapering form with a stepped, domed foot, waisted neck and bifurcated handle set with two Egyptian masks, the whole with formal foliate and palmette engraving, gilt interior, by H. Steiner, Adelaide, South Australia, c.1880, 13in (33cm) high, 35oz.
