A Chinese Yixing teapot and cover 18th century, with a rectangular body, the knop formed as a Buddhist lion dog with its ball, seal mark to the base, probably for Song Lin Zhu, some restoration, 20.8cm. (2) Provenance: from the collection of John and Helen Bargolini. With paper label, exhibited Hoghton Tower, Exhibition of Chinese Tea Ware, Yixing Purple Clay, no.3.
