A pair of Chinese famille noire tea bowls and saucers, decorated with panels containing flowers and leaves, and with concentric bands of further blossoms and foliage, lingzhi fungus marks, Kangxi 1662-1722, some faults, 12cm. (4) Provenance: Sackville, 5th Earl of Yarborough and paper labels for his collection, the Fulford collection no.133, and Dickinson, 108 Wigmore Street, London. Cf. J.A. Jörg, Chinese Ceramics in the Collection of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam, No. 219 for a similar example.
