A Meissen allegorical group of 'The Broken Bridge', after a model by Acier, the female tentatively stepping onto wooden planks that Cupid strews with flowers while her companion urges her forward from a lowered position, a further putto pushes her on to womanhood, blue crossed swords mark and incised 'F63', 19th century, a small amount of good restoration, 24cm. Provenance: from a good private collection.
