Furniture, Works of Art & Clocks

12 Apr, 2017 10:00 AM

Several prominent private collections are offered in the April sale which include a large number of mortars from two separate provenances, one of which is the Ian Jenkins Collection, which also includes Apothecary boxes and related items. We are also pleased to be selling over sixty inkwells and inkstands which have been privately consigned. The sale will also feature an eclectic mix of furniture, lighting and works of art including a fine pair of Italian bronze torchères, a rare 17th century Spanish colonial casket formerly from the collection of Lady Ottoline Morrell, a good Napoleon III bronze clock garniture by Brulfer, Paris and a Regence style giltwood centre table, formerly at Tyringham Hall, Buckinghamshire.
