A late 17th century Scandinavian carved and polychrome wood kasa

A late 17th century Scandinavian carved and polychrome wood kasa, with horse's head handles, the exterior with an inscribed rim with date '1693', the hollowed out interior decorated with a sun face and stars, raised on four ebonised feet, two with bone tips, the base inscribed with numbers, 9in (27cm) h, 15.75in (40cm) w, 10.5in (26.6cm) d. Some repairs and alterations.
