A miniature New Testament, inscribed 'To Lord Kitchener of Khartoum - as a memento of his visit to Dunedin, N.Z. Feb. 1910. A. R. Falconer of the "Soldier's Rest" in connection with the 10 N.Z. contingents during South A. war.', with further inscription and with a faded blue silk cover.
Provenance: Field Marshal Earl Kitchener of Khartoum (1850-1916), and thence by descent.
