A George III bloodstone snuffbox, the hinged cover applied with a diamond set lion standing on a line of emeralds and within a circular border of rubies. The thumbpiece mounted with a line alternately set with emeralds, diamonds and surmounted with two further rubies. Gold mounts. 7cm wide.
