A gold ring mounted with an oval carnelian intaglio, 18th century, after the antique style. Carved with a chariot race and letter LCEI. The drivers of the quadrigated cars with raised whips. 2cm wide.
With documentation explaining that the gem was carved to commemorate a particular race and also with a brief provenance, none of which can be verified.
