A gold pendant mounted with a hexagonal banded agate intaglio, second half of 17th century, depicting Hercules slaying Cacus, son of Vulcan. 4cm high.
The left sides of the frame follow the lines of the naturally formed hexagonal colour banding of the agate which is accentuated by the carved rock and foliage.
