A Victorian diamond necklace

A Victorian diamond necklace, designed as graduated circular links, each centred with a cushion shaped diamond within a surround of smaller diamonds, and separated with a further two diamonds. Dividing into three sections to form necklace and bracelets of different lengths. Maximum length 44cm. Fitted case by R & S Garrard, containing detatcable brooch and hair ornament pins. Case embossed Sir Edmund Antrobus BART Provenance: Property of a direct descendant of Sir Edmund Antrobus. Interestingly Sir Edmund sold Stone Henge in 1915 to Cecil Chubb for whom Woolley & Wallis acted as buying agent. Sir Cecil was knighted by Lloyd George when Stonehenge was passed to the state.
