A George II Scottish mounted tortoiseshell and mother of pearl snuff mull, of upright waisted form with a radiating pattern on the cover and base and a vertically striped body, the cover with a winged heart thumbpiece, above two applied leaves, with openwork scrolls and a shell below the hinge, ivory interior, unmarked c.1740, 2.1in (5.4cm) high.
