Scottish School c. 1850 Portrait of Margaret Lockhart neé Johnson with her children Oil on canvas 73 x 102cm; 29 x 40in Ninian Lockhart married his second wife Margaret Johnson in 1816. They had nine children, sis of whom appear together with Margaret in this portrait. They are (left to right) John (b.1818), David (b.1831), Margaret Johnson (back to viewer), Andrew (b.1834), Helen (b.1836), Charles (b.1827) and Robert (b.1822)
