A modern silver commemorative plate, maker's mark YM, Sheffield 1978, edition number 824/2500, commissioned by The Royal College of Arms to celebrate The Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II, circular form, the centre with the silver gilt image of the Queen sitting on the throne, in a fitted case, diameter 16.7cm, approx. weight 18oz.
