A George III silver sauce tureen and cover,
by Thomas Daniell, overstamped by 'WH', London 1788,
oval form with beaded borders, scroll handles, the pull-off covers with urn finials, on raised oval bases, engraved with a crest and armorial to the body and cover, length handle to handle 23cm, approx. weight 18oz.

The crest is probably that of Tulloh.
