This is a two day sale 24th and 25th January 2017.
The January 2017 Silver sale will include antique and post-war items, objects of vertu, flatware and foreign silver. A highlight of the sale is a modern silver double cigarette box (illustrated), the cover mounted with a griffin. Also offered is a collection regimental silver from The Duke of Edinburgh’s (Berkshire and Wiltshire) Royal Regiment. (DERR).
The January sale will also hold Part II of The Arthur Holder Collection of Silver and Vertu. Items include 270 lots of wine labels (top illustration), a small collection of vesta cases, 140 lots of flatware, together with a group of blackjacks, also called bombards, and leather bottles.
