WATCH - An Easter Island gorget, rei miro

WATCH Behind the scenes with Will Hobbs, African, Oceanic Art and Antiquities specialist introducing an Easter Island gorget or rei miro, Lot 317, a highlight of the Arts of Africa, Oceania and the Americas Antiquities Online only sale, now live and closing from 10am on Thursday 20th August. 

The sale features a number of collections of African and Oceanic artefacts, including a rare Dayak baby carrier and an Easter Island gorget or Rei Miro. The Jeremy Sabine South African collection of mainly Zulu items, including canes, staffs, beadwork and snuff containers. Also rare antiquities, including a pair of Roman earrings.
