A rare gold mounted curly horn snuff mull, with a hinged cover, pierced with a reclining figure, probably "Diana" and inset with an agate panel, the wavy thumbpiece above a chased scrollwork section, centred by a hunting dog, unmarked c.1770, 4.5in (11.5cm).
