A George III swing handled bread or cake basket, with a pierced, swing handle and a gadrooned oval border, the centre engraved with a coat of arms, the sides pierced and embossed with drapery festoons, tassels and ears of wheat, maker's mark RM possibly by Richard Mills, London 1773, 14in (36cm) wide, 30oz.
