Description

An unusual late 17th century mounted, turned wooden mug, with a flat, scroll handle, scratched with a foliate motif, the body cylindrical with an upper and lower band of reeding, the rim initialled, maker's mark only "T.D" (in a shaped shield) struck twice, possibly by Thomas Dare of Taunton c.1685.
