Description

An unusual dated Chinese pear-shaped vase, with an integral base pierced with B-shaped apertures, the neck applied with a chilong, all beneath an olive green glaze, incised with an inscription 'Kang xi si shi liu nian shi yue ji ri kou she', (Donated on an auspicious day in the tenth month of the forty sixth year of the Kangxi reign.) corresponding to 1707, 27.5cm.
