A rare Victorian naturalistic vinaigrette, in the form of a mussel shell, hinging open to reveal a gilt interior with a hinged grille centred by a registered design lozenge and incuse maker mark, by 'S Mordan & Co, London', suspensory ring, c.1875, 2in (5cm) long, 0.5oz.
