Description

A fine Wanli Wucai bowl. A rare Chinese wucai bowl, with a flared rim, the exterior brightly painted with four figures divided by lanterns, the rim with stylized flowers. Wear to the interior and small rim faults. Six character Wanli mark within a double ring and of the period 1573-1619, 14.9cm. dia. Another Wanli bowl of this pattern is in the National Palace Museum, Taiwan.
