A small mid 18th century continental mounted enamel snuff box, cartouche form with applied gilt decoration, in the form of festoons, love birds, putti and a amatory trophy on the base, probably German c.1750, but struck only with a single French duty mark (original fitted case), 2.25in (5.5cm) wide.
