A pair of Chinese hexagonal vases and covers, delicately painted in the famille rose palette with foliate panels depicting people in various pursuits, above small roundels with landscapes in sepia, the neck and lid with further panels of birds that mirror each other, the knops modelled as lion dogs, 18th century, the gilding mostly lacking on one vase, and extensive damage, 45.5cm.
