Middle Eastern interest: an unusual Chinese blue and white bowl, the interior painted with Shoulao seated on a flying crane and the inner rim with a band of Arabic style script, the exterior decorated with four roundels each containing two of the Daoist immortals on a ground of Zhou characters, the rim with a gilt metal band, a six character Chenghua mark but first half 17th century, two hairlines, 21.9cm.
