A brass and cast iron firegrate in George III style by Thomas Elsley, the arched back cast with an urn to a serpentine front with engraved and pierced decoration, the back stamped 'ELSLEY LIMITED LONDON', 29.5in (74.5cm) h, 31.75in (80.6cm) w, 15.5in (39.3cm) d. Provenance: Mallett, New Bond Street, London, 1974.
