A George III mahogany secretaire bookcase, the cavetto cornice above a pair of geometric astragal doors, with an unusual faceted dividing bar, enclosing adjustable shelves, the base with a crossbanded top above a secretaire drawer fitted with drawers and pigeon holes and a baize line writing surface, above three graduated drawers, with cast brass handles, on ogee bracket feet, 81.75in (207.5cm) h, 39in (99.3cm) w, 20.25in (51.5cm) d. Restorations, a crack to one drawer.
