By Ramsden & Carr, a modern cup and cover, with a hammered finish, the rising cover with a red glass cabochon finial, the body with a chased armorial (with motto 'AUT NUNC AUT NUNQUAM') (its now or never) and crest to the other side, on a turned stem with scroll buttresses, the raised pedestal foot inscribed to the underside "OMAR RAMSDEN ET ALWYN CARR ME FECERUNT MCMXIV", by Ramsden & Carr, London 1914, 10in (25.4cm) high, 11.5oz.
