'Peace - 1919' a Wedgwood commemorative charger painted in colours, the rim with inscription, the well a bust of a Britannia, made for Soane & Smith Ltd impressed and printed marks, 43cm. diam. Literature Maureen Batkin Wedgwood Ceramics 1846-1959, Richard Dennis Publications, page 10 colour plate IX for a comparable example. This charger, one of a set of three, was produced in a limited edition of 250.
