An Early 18th century Maltese baluster coffee jug, with a domed cover, pineapple finial and a hinged shell flap on the spout, the body with part-chasing and part-embossing, ribbed foot with scratched initials "AM", makers mark "MF" or "MP", possibly for Michele Pianta, Vilhena period (1721-36). 7.9in (20cm) high, 12oz.
