A William III ascribed, West Country trefid spoon , with a bead and reeded rattail, pricked "1701" over "RG" over "RC" on the back of the terminal, maker's mark struck twice and town mark incorporating maker's initials, struck once on the back of the stem, by John Peard (II), Barnstaple c.1701, 8.3in (21.1cm) long, 1.4oz.
