A Queen Anne mounted tortoiseshell snuffbox , with a standaway hinge and pique-work decoration on the base, the cover moulded with a portrait of Queen Anne framed by pique-work laurel foliage, the plaque signed `OB 1705', for John O Brisset, the box unmarked, c.1705,3.5in (8.8cm).
